Natural Site Characteristics

Sunset Park sits on 250 acres of wooded park land featuring Lake Potter, a 50-acre protected lake, with outlet to the Mississippi River. Sunset Park is the starting point for the 65 mile Quad Cities bike path on the Riverway Trails system. Sunset Park is also home to the annual Recycled Float Race held every July 4th.
