Park in gravel parking lot to the left(downstream) after entering the park and crossing railroad tracks, just off Illinois Route 84 just east of Hampton, Illinois.
Site Amenities and Recreation Opportunities:
Fishing, picnicking, restrooms with no water, canoe/kayak trail head, bike path access, and a levee.

Special Closings and Special Events:
May be closed during periods of flooding for visitor safety reasons.
Natural Site Characteristics:
Shallow water marsh on upstream side of levee containing frogs, turtles, muskrats, Blue Herons, and waterfowl in the fall. Downstream of the levee are fishing waters containing all species native to the area.
Site Acreage:
About 2 acres of park, 20 acres of marsh.
Programming and infrastructure needs:
Levee is accessible on top, difficult terrain on slopes.
