The various shelters and peaceful natural atmosphere, combined with several active recreational ammenities, make it a favorite picnic spot! Duck Creek winds through the park and features exposed limestone bluffs that lead you to forget that you are in the city limits. Various features from the 1930's era Civilian Conservation Corps project are still found in the park, along with a small natural waterfall that leads into Duck Creek.
